Committees and Chamber Chapters

The Simpsonville area Chamber of Commerce offers numerous groups and initiatives to foster involvement, education, exposure, and access for its members. Those programs are highlighted below.

Public Policy

The role of the Chamber in public policy is to help ensure that local and state government policies and decisions support a strong business climate, quality growth, and economic opportunity.
Additionally, the Chamber works closely with the City of Simpsonville and Greenville County elected and administrative leaders on key local and state issues, and has solid partnerships with regional organizations and other chambers.

Education Committee

The Education Committee is dedicated to strengthening the partnership between local businesses and Simpsonville area schools.

Hospitality & Tourism Committee (Community Pride Committee)

The Simpsonville Area Chamber of Commerce's Tourism & Hospitality Focus Group was formed recognizing the importance that this critical segment plays in the local economy. The group meets on a regular basis to exchange information on meetings and conventions in our area, explore new ideas promoting our area as a tourism and conference destination, and to hear informative speakers on the latest tourism topics.

Economic Development

The Simpsonville Area Chamber of Commerce along with the City of Simpsonville is dedicated to attracting, expanding, and retaining diversified economic opportunities in the Simpsonville area to enhance the quality of life for our community.

Main Street Chapter

This group promotes and protects the interests of businesses in the Main Street area. This group meets on the first Friday of every month.

Foundation Committee

This group works toward the Simpsonville Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation's core purpose. The overarching purpose of this initiative is to support and assist the community development activities of civic organizations through beautification projects, preservation of local area natural resources, and other community activities.

Ambassador Committee

Ambassadors are part of an integral Chamber resource. The Ambassador Committee is an organization of recognized Chamber representatives who call upon new and prospective members to provide information and to answer questions about the Chamber of Commerce, its programs, and its services.
