Halloween at Heritage Park

HalloweenAtHeritagePark Web Slide

Thus event is made possible by our partnership with City of Simpsonville. We work together to provide a free and safe Halloween event for children and families. Halloween at Heritage Park officially began in 2015 but has quickly become one of the largest annual community events in Simpsonville, with more than 6,000 children plus their parents participating in activities throughout the day. The event features free games and activities during the day and free trick-or-treating in the evening. Event promotion and advertising efforts are targeted to the Golden Strip communities (Simpsonville, Mauldin, and Fountain Inn) but attendees also come from as far as Anderson, Laurens, and Spartanburg Counties.

Halloween at Heritage Park is held annually on the Saturday before Halloween. Details for guests, vendors, and sponsors can be found on the event calendar.

Simpsonville Swing & Shuck - Annual Golf Tournament & Oyster Roast

Swing Shuck

The Chamber’s Swing & Shuck is our annual golf tournament and oyster roast held at Willow Creek Golf Club. The golf tournament sells out each year with 25 foursomes representing Chamber members and community partners. The oyster roast is open to the public and usually hosts 150-200 guests. Guests come from a wide range of backgrounds and businesses in Simpsonville as well as Greenville and Spartanburg Counties. Bring a foursome for a day of golf, extra activities and challenges with our hole sponsors, and great food!

The Chamber’s Swing & Shuck Golf Tournament is held annually in October. Check our event calendar for this year’s date and details for teams, sponsors, and vendors.

Sippin' In Simpsonvile - Spring Wine Tasting & Oktoberfest Beer Tasting

2017 okto logo horizontal

The two annual Sippin’ In Simpsonville events are among the most well attended Chamber events during the year. Over 1,000 attendees participate in these one-night events in downtown Simpsonville. Many of our Chamber members participate as tasting stops along the route, hosting guests for tastes of seasonal wine and beer, and sharing the latest information about their business. Event data shows that guests are primarily residents from the Simpsonville/Mauldin/Fountain Inn areas, but also come from surrounding communities like Greenville, Anderson, Laurens, as well as parts of Spartanburg County.

The wine tasting event is held in the Spring and the beer tasting event is held in the Fall. Guest tickets, sponsorship information, and more can be found by clicking on each event in our online calendar.

Senior Health & Wellness Fairs

Senior Fair Graphic

Our Senior Health & Wellness Fairs are one-day events that promote wellness and preparation resources for local senior citizens. Vendors and activities represent many industries including Health Care, Home Care, Holistic Health, Fitness & Exercise, Physical Therapy, Lawn Care, Fire and Home Security, Retirement/Investment Planning, Recreation, and many other applicable resources for local seniors and their caretakers. If your business offers products or services to the 50+ demographic, then we invite you to join us as a vendor or a sponsor.

We now host this event twice each year – once in the late Spring and once in the late Fall. Vendors are encouraged to provide materials and information in keeping with each season (i.e. warm weather & sun safety in the Spring, cold weather & winter health topics in the Fall).

Holiday Market On Main Street

holiday market 2017

Check off your holiday shopping list with unique gifts and treasures from our Holiday Market On Main Street, right beside the historic Clock Tower. Inspired by the Christmas markets in Germany, Simpsonville's Holiday Market brings a loved tradition right here to the Golden Strip. Visitors will be able to stroll through downtown Simpsonville while sipping cider, enjoying Christmas carols, shopping with local artisans and crafters, and more. The city will be lit and decorated for the holiday season. Local artisans and food vendors will be showcasing their holiday themed items, crafts, gifts, drinks, and more.

This event is held over several Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Dates and times may vary each year, so check our event calendar for details.

Annual Christmas Parade

Start the holiday season off right with Simpsonville’s Annual Christmas Parade. This event is a community favorite, and a great chance for the season's first sighting of Santa! Any community group or business may enter a float, performance group, or decorated vehicle. The parade route begins at the intersection of Garrison Road and N.E. Main Street, and procedes south towards the intersection of Richardson Street and S.E. Main Street. Spectators begin setting up chairs early in the day, so make sure to arrive early for a good view!

The Annual Christmas Parade falls on the first Sunday of December, and begins at 3:00pm. Check our event calendar for details on submitting an entry, sponsoring, and viewing.
